The "Consorzio Farmaceutico e Biotecnologico Bioprogress", is an associated company composed of small and medium-size pharmaceutical industries. FACTORY The Consortium has the following primary purposes: the production of pharmaceutical , parapharmaceutical specialities and biotechnological products, both for its own members than for third parties; the research and the development of new pharmaceutical forms in relation both to the requirements of scientific and therapeutic development as well as for satisfying world market demand; research in the biochemical and biotechnological sectors; market studies and scientific information on drugs for human use; study of Italian and foreign pharmaceutical regulations and support to the members of the Consortium in their "regulatory affairs"; the design and the construction of pharmaceutical factories in Italy and abroad. Currently the Consortium is composed of the following pharmaceutical industries: Bioprogress S.p.A., Salus Researchs S.p.A., Eurofarmaco S.r.l., Stabilimento Chimico Farmaceutico Mendelejeff S.r.l., Kemiprogress S.r.l., Homeos S.r.l.. The Consortium operates in a newly built factory, which meets the norms laid down by the GMP and FDA, and is located in the well-established industrial centre of Anagni (Frosinone), 50 km from Rome. It can therefore avail itself of services and transport connections of primary importance. The factory is built on a surface of 40,000 square metres facing onto the Milan-Naples A1 motorway (at the 607th kilometre) MAIN ENTRANCE RECEPTION OFFICES The building has a surface area of 18,000 square metres: approximately 2,000 square metres are offices, laboratories, convention rooms and other facilities; the rest, built in autonomous and self-sufficient blocks, even if a part of the same complex, constitute the different production departments. These have general common facilities and specific ones in order to avoid cross-contamination and meet the most advanced production regulations and guarantee a higher level of safety.
